About the Venture

We are building the computing infrastructure for the third wave of AI. Our technology delivers highly parallel, real-time processing capabilities that go beyond what conventional systems can offer. We are a deep-tech company based in Dresden, solving hard problems at the intersection of hardware and intelligent systems. Our team is growing, and the work we are doing sits at the frontier of what neuromorphic and AI computing can become.

About the Role

This is our first dedicated people hire, which means you will not be inheriting a function. You will be building one. You will own everything from strategy to operations, shaping how we hire, develop, and support our team as we scale. It is a rare opportunity to define the culture and people practices of a deep-tech company from the ground up, with direct partnership with leadership.

What you'll do

  • Build and own the people strategy, aligned with our growth plans and company values

  • Define and implement scalable people processes, policies, and governance from scratch

  • Design and run a long-term hiring strategy, working closely with hiring managers on workforce planning and priorities

  • Improve how we attract candidates, including employer branding and candidate experience

  • Design and implement performance management, feedback loops, and review cycles

  • Run talent reviews, calibrations, and development discussions across the company

  • Turn people data into practical development and retention initiatives

  • Own and develop Personio as our central people system

  • Manage smooth people operations across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding

  • Improve and automate workflows to keep things efficient as we grow

  • Foster a strong, inclusive, and feedback-driven culture

  • Support leaders on topics like communication, conflict resolution, and team development

About You

You have built or scaled a people function before and know what it takes to go from zero to something that works well. You are comfortable operating across the full range, from strategic planning to sorting out contracts, and you do not need someone to tell you what to do next. You thrive in environments where things are still being figured out.

  • 5+ years in people or talent management, ideally as a Senior People Partner or in a similar generalist role

  • Experience building or significantly scaling people processes in a growing or complex organisation

  • Strong knowledge of the German people / employment landscape and relevant regulations

  • Hands-on experience with Personio

  • A track record of designing and running performance management and talent development programmes

  • Fluent in both English and German, written and spoken

  • Comfortable managing multiple initiatives at once without losing the thread

  • Calm and structured under pressure, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving

  • Strong communicator who can influence and advise at all levels of the organisation
