  • On-site
    • Paris, France
  • Portfolio Company

Job description

This is an Atlantic portfolio venture. Find out more about us and other opportunities in our portfolio here.

About the Venture

Pletor is the platform where marketing and design teams combine the best AI models to accelerate their creative workflows.

Think Zapier for marketing visuals, built for the AI era.

We believe the next decade belongs to marketing teams assisted by AI agents. Image **& video generators (Midjourney, ChatGPT, Flux…) were Step 1. Autonomous agents are Step 2 🤖.

We are shaping that future and making it accessible to every marketer and designer on earth.

In less than 6 months, we have gained strong traction and already count customers such as Alan, Education First, Fever, BETC, Kavak, Smartbox, Bouygues Telecom, Les Furets & more. Backed by Tier-1 VCs and business angels including Revolut’s CMO, Adobe B2B VP’s, Hubspot’s VP Marketing, and more.

About the Role

This isn't a typical design job. As our Founding Designer and first design hire, you'll join the team at a pivotal moment.

You'll work directly with the founding team (no layers) and engineers to build a stellar experience for our users and enable them to transform how work gets done.

You'll have direct impact on everything we build. You'll shape not just the product, but how we think about design and problem-solving as a company. You'll own your domain with the autonomy and trust that comes with being a founding team member.

On the other end, you won't have the luxury of a perfect double-diamond process. You'll need to balance shipping fast with building for the future.

This is a hands-on role where you'll own the entire design surface:

1/ Define how users experience Pletor

  • Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction

  • Design the look, feel, and interaction patterns of our agent builder

  • Rapidly prototype and iterate based on user feedback and product requirements

  • Work in Figma/Lovable and directly with our engineering team to ship production-ready experiences

  • Establish our design system as we scale

2/ Support brand adoption:

  • Bring your own taste to refine the Pletor brand

  • Iterate on our website to communicate Pletor's value clearly and compellingly

  • Maintain visual consistency across touchpoints

  • Contribute to evolving our brand identity as the product and company grow

Job requirements

You might be a great fit if

  • You're a builder at heart. You've worked in startups before and thrive in early-stage product development environments. You know how to prioritize and move fast.

  • You ship. You can go from a few lines of customer feedback or a PRD to quick prototypes and production-ready designs. You don't get stuck in process or thoughts.

  • You’re excellent with your craft. You have a strong eye for detail, strong UI skills, bonus points if you’re into motion design.

  • You're tool-proficient. Figma is your playground. Bonus points if you've used tools like Lovable or similar rapid prototyping platforms.

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity. We're figuring things out as we go. You don't need perfect specs or endless research to start designing.

  • You have 4+ years of experience, with a portfolio that shows taste, delivered work, explorations and/or side projects. Experience in both product and brand design is ideal. If you've only done product, that's fine, but you should be excited to learn and contribute to brand work.

  • You're fluent in English. We're building a global product and company from day one, clear communication across the team is essential.

Why Join

  • You’ll tackle novel UX and UI challenges in AI, designing intuitive experiences that amplify human creativity and explore entirely new, greenfield territory.

  • You’ll build for designers and marketers who care deeply about craft, creating tools that empower creativity and are genuinely enjoyable to use.

  • The role offers competitive compensation, including a strong salary and meaningful equity through BSPCE, so you share directly in the company’s success.

  • Benefits include the latest Apple equipment, offices near Poissonnière, flexible WFH, health insurance with Alan, meal vouchers via Swile, and 50% public transportation reimbursement.

  • Paris, Île-de-France, France
